What part of our military uses urban digital camo and what are it’s uses?
To the first guy: The Marine Corps doesn’t have an Urban Marpat. It was designed but it was never put into service. We do have Woodland and Desert MARPAT though.
MARPAT (short for MARine Disruptive PATtern) is a pixelated camouflage pattern in use by the United States Marine Corps. The pattern comprises a number of small pixels of color (rectangular pixels). In theory, it is a far more effective camouflage than standard uniform patterns due to the way it mimics the dappled textures and rough boundaries found in natural settings. This is caused by how the human eye interacts with pixelated images.
The Army has their ACU, the Navy will come out with the NWU, and the Air Force is coming out with the ABU cammies.
